Ecodesign
1. Objectives
Contribute to the objectives of Directive 2009/125/EC establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products, in line with Recitals 18-21 Article 17 and Annex VIII on self-regulation measures.
Continuously improve the environmental performance of the types of imaging equipment in scope of this agreement.
Educate users, in particular end-users, on best practices for environmental printing.
Promote and secure better energy efficiency for household and office imaging equipment.
Ensure the involvement of all stakeholders represented in the Consultation Forum in monitoring of the results and updating the requirements of the Voluntary Agreement.
